All Family Services locations remain closed to outside community and customer foot traffic, including walk-in traffic to the Crisis Center. The Crisis Center and Sexual Assault Center hotlines remain open and continue to provide 24/7 services. All other programs continue to provide telehealth services in the form of virtual visits and by phone. Update as of 3:00 p.m. 4/20/20

In accordance with Governor Tony Ever’s extension of the Safer at Home order, all Family Services locations will remain closed to outside community and customer foot traffic, including walk-in traffic to the Crisis Center, until May 26th. At that time we will reevaluate our need to remain closed to the community.

The Crisis Center and Sexual Assault Center hotlines will continue to provide 24/7 services by phone during this time.

Further updates on programs and services will be provided as they become available.

Effective at noon on Thursday, 3/19 all Family Services locations will be closed to outside community and customer foot traffic, including walk-in traffic to the Crisis Center. The Crisis Center and Sexual Assault Center hotlines remain open and continue to provide 24/7 services.

Building closures will remain in effect until April 2nd, at which time we will reevaluate our need to remain closed to the community.

Update as of 3/17/20

Dear Community Partners, Donors and Friends of Family Services,

As we have all been consumed over the past week with the continually evolving threat of the COVID-19 virus, I wish to take this opportunity to update you on our Family Services response.

You are no doubt aware, that the programs and services we provide at Family Services are essential to the safety and wellbeing of individuals and families throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Now more so than ever, we remain committed to doing whatever we can to meet the needs of our clients and the communities we serve.

As an Agency, we also have an obligation to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff. Meeting the needs of our clients, while ensuring the safety of our staff, remains a challenging balancing act for us. We are committed to delivering on both fronts, as we respond to this current health crisis.

Family Services will continue to provide services in all of our locations throughout Northeast Wisconsin, with as little disruption as possible. This will include our 24/7 live in programs, Crisis Services and all of our Counseling and Community Based Services. We are preparing to do as much direct client work as possible, practicing recommended mitigation strategies and when direct contact is not safe or feasible, using virtual technology to maintain our client support efforts.

During this time of fear and uncertainty for individuals and families, we will do our best to offer the guidance and support our clients and our communities need, as we join together to meet the day to day challenges of this unprecedented health emergency.

Our mission to Protect – Heal – Care has never been more important than it is now and as we move forward, we will do our best to make sure we are there for our clients and for the communities we serve.
