Family Fun Events

Parent Connection offers a number of low-cost family fun events for parents with young children including:

• Autumn Adventure

  An annual family fun event with games and activities for kids ages 10 and younger. Come dressed for messy play! Enjoy a picnic dinner, take a ride on the Borky Express, and meet the Appleton Fire and Police Depts.

• When: Monday, September 20

• Where: Pierce Park, 1035 W Prospect Ave, Appleton

• Cost: $2 per person (includes meal), max $8/family

Register for this event in advance by calling ThedaCare at 920-830-6877 or sign up online at www.thedacare.org/classes.

• Playgroup (for parents and children, ages 0-5)

Join us for a free morning of fun playtime, an optional craft, and story/snack time. Group is led by parent volunteers.

• When: Every Tuesday from September to May, 9:00 - 11:00 am

• Where: Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E Glendale Ave, Appleton

• Cost: Free to all families

• Dads & Kids Luau - Fox Valley

An annual family fun event for kids and their dads, uncles, grandpas, etc. Come join the fun as we limbo, play games, and bounce on the inflatable obstacle course! Ideal for kids ages infant to 6 years.

• When: Coming March 2011

• Butterfly Festival

  Helping Families Fly! The Butterfly Festival is an annual family fun event with all proceeds benefitting the child abuse prevention services of Parent Connection.

• When: Coming June 2011
