Dads Unlimited - "Helping you grow as a Father"

(Programs for dads in the Fox Valley and Oshkosh, brought to you by Parent Connection)

Parent Connection offers programs designed specifically for new and expectant fathers in the Fox Cities and Oshkosh. All programs are taught by experienced dads with offerings such as:

Baby Basics Classes
A free, three-hour class for new and expectant fathers to discuss and practice the skills needed to nurture and care for their babies. Based on the Conscious Fathering™ curriculum, the program provides hands-on training in a comfortable setting using life-size dolls. Participants learn how to handle, feed, burp, change, clean and calm their newborn infant. Discussions include what to expect in upcoming months and how to enhance dad’s relationship with the baby’s mother.
Fox Valley: 3rd Monday of each month, 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Family Resource Center Fox Cities. Register by contacting ThedaCare at 920-830-6877 or www.thedacare.org or Affinity at 920-738-2230 or www.affinityhealth.org.
Oshkosh: 2nd Saturday of each month, 9:00 am - Noon. Classes rotate between Mercy and Aurora Medical Centers in Oshkosh. Register by calling Parent Connection at 920-233-6630 ext. 102. (Note: This class is now open to moms as well.)

Dads & Kids Groups
Dads & Kids Group is a free, interactive social time for dads to meet with their child(ren) in a comfortable play environment. Dads receive informational handouts, access to free children’s books, and can participate in informal discussions on fatherhood while spending quality play time with their child(ren). The group is available to any dad and their young children, ages infant to five years. Grandfathers and other male caregivers are also encouraged to attend.
Fox Valley: 2nd Thursday of each month, 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Family Resource Center Fox Cities. This is a drop-in group, no registration is necessary.
