Since 2011, Amy has been providing therapy to children and adolescents in a variety of settings including In-Home, School, and Outpatient. She is also currently co-facilitating a DBT group for adults.



Amy works with children and adolescents, ages 5-17, who have experienced trauma. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a components-based treatment model in which children and parents learn new skills to help process thoughts and feelings related to traumatic life events; manage and resolve distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to traumatic life events; and enhance safety, growth, and parenting skills. Amy is trained in and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and also co-facilitates a DBT Skills Group for adults that focuses on mindfulness skills, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal relationships.
