2011 Green & Gold Gala Raises Record Proceeds for Local Youth

Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, in partnership with the Green Bay Packers, held its 23rd Annual Green & Gold Gala on the evening of Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. This year’s event raised record proceeds of $111,000, which will be used to fund programs that keep homeless youth safe, provide a healing place for abused children, and help high-risk families with young children succeed.

More than 450 guests attended the event, including 20 Packer greats - Jim Taylor (58-66), Willie Davis (60-69), Johnnie Gray (75-83), Lynn Dickey (76-85), and Frank Winters (92-02), to name a few. Guests enjoyed fine food, a silent and live auction, and raffles, with all proceeds benefitting the child and youth programs of Family Services. As our agency's largest fund raiser, the Green & Gold Gala helps us continue providing services to youth and families in need.
