Past experience in counseling with issues related to mental
health, substance abuse and gambling addiction, as well as education for
sexual assault prevention. Has supervision and program planning experience
within both inpatient and outpatient settings related to substance abuse
recovery. Has provided presentations at state, regional, and national
levels on topics ranging from effective techniques in counseling people
with dual diagnoses to relapse prevention for people with addictions
issues. Also has experience teaching in community college and university
settings and providing supervision to graduate level students.
