recognizes the profound impact that sexual abuse and/or assault can have on an individual
and their entire
family. Our trained,
professional staff are sensitive to your
needs and will help guide you in your healing process. With our team of over
25 certified therapists, we have the provider who can best meet your needs.
Specific components of the
Sexual Abuse Treatment program may include:
- Individual therapy
- Play therapy
- Family and marital therapy
- Group therapy
- Consultation and coordination with community resources
- Diagnostic evaluation and assessment
- Psychiatric evaluation and consultation
At Family Services, an individualized
treatment
plan is developed for each sexual abuse case to
meet the specific needs of each victim, offender
and family system.
Our goal is to treat the effects of sexual abuse
and prevent its reoccurrence, while respecting
and maintaining the integrity of the individual
as well as the family.
Staff of the Sexual Abuse Treatment
program are trained Masters Degreed professionals with years of experience
working with sexual abuse victims and their families. The program is certified
by the State of Wisconsin. Fees for the treatment program are based on the
client's ability to pay. Costs may be covered
by Insurance and Medical Assistance. The program also receives funding from the United Way of Brown County.
